Residential Accommodation

Gormanston Park School of English is the only campus to offer in excess of 400 en-suite residential beds for 12 months of the year. We have always got excellent feedback from students who have stayed at Gormanston Park.

We have a wide range of rooms made of:

  • 27 Single/Double/ Twin Bed Ensuite
  • 46 Twin Ensuite (Bunk Bed)
  • 46 x 4 to 6 Bed Ensuite
  • 2 x 10 Bed Dorm
  • 2 x 12 Bed Dorm
  • 2 x 18 Bed Dorm

Total capacity is 460 beds.

TWIN ENSUITE ROOM
(BUNK BED)

  • 46 rooms – ensuite

Our ensuite rooms offer a high standard of comfort. Each room contains a bunk bed,  study area, wardrobe space, Wi-Fi connection, electrical and TV sockets.

The ensuite room contains a top of the range electric shower and toilet facility, while also remaining spacious and bright.

SINGLE/TWIN ROOM

  • 10 Single Ensuite Rooms
  • 2 Twin Ensuite Rooms

The single and twin ensuite rooms are very functional. Each room contains a study desk, bathroom and free Wi-Fi.

DORMITORY ROOMS

  • 46 Dorms Ensuite

These are very popular with youth groups and are a hive of fun and excitment when occupied. Each bed has its own private alcove, storage space and bedside light provided. Each bunk also comes equipped with its own plug sockets, so no need to hang off the edge of the bed to charge your phone or laptop, while using the free WiFi.

Bathrooms are located in every dormitory room, with brand new state of the art showers

FAQs

Do I need to make a booking?

YES. All accommodation needs to be booked in advance to guarantee the availability and to ensure adequate time is provided to prepare the rooms for occupancy.

How many beds per dormitory?

We have 20 Dormitory Rooms – 8 with 6 beds and 12 with 4 beds. Please contact us to confirm your booking numbers.

Are towels supplied?

Yes, we provide towels and toiletries to all of our guests.

Is there a common room for entertainment?

Yes. We have a large common room that can cater for up to 20 students.

Is there a common kitchen for use?

No. However, we can arrange for food to be made available on request. Please let us know your requirements when booking.

Brú na Bóinne

NewgrangeOnly a very short drive from here is the amazing Brú na Bóinne.The archaeological landscape within Brú na Bóinne is dominated by the three well-known large passage tombs, Knowth, Newgrange and Dowth, built some 5,000 years ago in the Neolithic or Late Stone Age. An additional ninety monuments have been recorded in the area giving rise to one of the most significant archaeological complexes in terms of scale and density of monuments and the material evidence that accompanies them. Having cooked in the past for dignitaries, royals and heads of states such as Bill Clinton and Nelson Mandella they are a great asset to Gormanston Park.
